Last summer, when it was hot, I traveled to Busan alone and headed toward Songdo, Busan. There are so many things to see in Songdo, Busan, including Songdo Beach, Songdo Marine Cable Car, and Songdo Yonggung Cloud Bridge. Also, KTX Busan Station is not far away, so it is an easy place to get off at Busan Station and see the sea. It is good for everyone to travel alone, and one of these is the Songdo Skywalk Songdo Cloud Walk.

In Songdo, Busan, there are two facilities with a similar name, Cloud, right? One is the Songdo Yonggung Cloud Bridge introduced in the last post and the other is the Songdo Cloud Walk introduced today. Originally, the name was this, but it was more known as Songdo Skywalk.

It is located at 129-4 Amnam-dong, Seo-gu, Busan, and it is at the end of Songdo Beach, and it is right in front of Songdo Marine Cable Car Station, so you can see Songdo Cloud Walkway right away if you go there.

Songdo Cloud Walkway

Songdo Beach is the first beach to open in Korea with a long history. However, it is said that there was a time when it was in danger that it was difficult to function as a beach due to typhoon damage.

Of course, Songdo Beach has become Busan’s representative beach for vacationers in the summer, and there are many things to play with such as Songdo Marine Cable Car, Songdo Yonggung Cloud Bridge, and Songdo Cloud Walkway. However, except for the summer vacation season, there are relatively few people compared to Gwangalli and Haeundae.

The day I went was when the summer heat was very severe. So the sunlight was a little hot even when I walked on this Songdo Cloud Trail. As you can see from the picture, there are no facilities to hide the sunlight except Turtle Island, so if it’s a sunny day, I recommend you to walk with sunlight.

I thought it would be quite hot, but when I walked to the end of the Songdo Cloud Walk, a cool wind blew from the beach, so it wasn’t as hot as I thought.

Now, it’s already heading towards the middle of September, but it’s still a heat wave watch and a heat wave watch. I thought it might feel similar to a month ago as of the date of posting. I thought it would be better to be prepared for the heat and travel to see outdoor destinations before the weather gets cool.

The length of the Songdo Cloud Walk is about 365m. Usually, the skywalk facility is a little long toward the beach, so you can see it quickly because it is not long. There is a long walk on both sides around the Turtle Island on the east side of Songdo Beach, so I could walk without being bored and while looking at the sea.

If you go toward the end, you will see a good place to see the Busan sea in the form of a square. The weather was hot, but there were many tourists and especially quite a lot of foreign tourists.

Come to think of it, there are quite a few skywalk facilities in Busan that are toward the beach. There are in Oryuk Island and Cheongsapo Island. Recently, there was news that another observation deck near Cheongsapo was built. However, both Oryuk Island and Cheongsapo are a little far from KTX Busan Station, but I thought that Songdo Skywalk was good because it was not far from KTX Busan Station.

It is about 365m long, and if you enjoy the scenery around Turtle Island, you can see it quickly in about 20 minutes. It was a place where you could see Songdo Beach in the distance and the overall scenery was good. When I went, there were so many people on the beach because it was the opening of the summer beach, but now the weather is still hot, but the beach is closed, so I think the scenery of Songdo Beach will be a little different from now.
